Classic Sloppy Joes

  • 1 tablespoon canola oil
  • 1 medium onion, finely hacked
  • 1/2 green chime pepper, finely hacked
  • 1 celery stem, finely hacked
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Coarse salt and ground pepper
  • 1 pound ground meat
  • 1 can (15 ounces) pureed tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 burger buns, split and toasted
Instructions

     

    Stage 1
    In an enormous skillet, heat oil over medium-high intensity. Add onion, ringer pepper, celery, and garlic; season with salt and pepper. Cook, blending habitually, until vegetables are relaxed, 5 to 7 minutes.

    Stage 2
    Add ground hamburger to skillet. Cook, separating meat with a wooden spoon, until it is at this point not pink, 6 to 8 minutes.

    Stage 3
    Mix pureed tomatoes, ketchup, and Worcestershire sauce into hamburger combination in skillet. Stew until thickened, blending at times, 6 to 8 minutes.

    Stage 4
    Season the blend with more salt and pepper, as wanted. Spoon onto buns, and serve right away.
